Basics of Document Edition

After opening a document, the interface will look as follows:

Note that documents that are currently loaded by Smode are displayed in bold in the file editor.

The top right tabs are the currently opened documents. Each document is defined by a tree of elements, such as Layers and 3d Nodes. The document editors also contain a visualizer and a set of elements editors.

Elements can be added by right clicking on the element editor empty space and by selecting 2D Layers>Linear Gradient for instance:

The bottom right Parameters editor allows the modification of the selected element(s) parameters.

For instance, the resolution of compos can be changed in the “Parameters” tab when selecting the root element of the Compo.
